Creating Policies

Step-by-step guide to creating security policies

Create a New Policy

  1. Navigate to Policies in the sidebar
  2. Click "Create Policy"
  3. Choose a policy type or start from a template
  4. Define the policy rules and conditions
  5. Assign the policy to device groups
  6. Set enforcement mode (Monitor or Enforce)

Policy Rules

Each policy consists of one or more rules that define:

  • What to check (e.g., firewall status)
  • Expected value (e.g., enabled)
  • Remediation action if non-compliant

Start with Monitor mode to understand impact before enforcing.
